Grow Kit Set-Up

Step 2 - Air Movement
There are multiple ways to set-up your air filtration based on the lighting reflector purchased with your kit.

Non-Cool Tube Reflector / LED:
Start by installing your carbon filter horizontally at the top left inside corner of your tent. Use two ratchet straps evenly spaced and wrap around the carbon filter and attach to the horizontal top brace of the tent. Then hang the inline fan using a ratchet strap at the same height a minimum of 6" away from the carbon filter outlet flange. (Ensure the fan is facing the right direction as it should be drawing air from the carbon filter flange) Measure the required length of ducting and connect the fan and filter using the supplied clamps. (Make sure when measuring the ducting length you take into account the overlap of ducting over the filter and fan flanges). Next, install the ducting on the outlet flange on the fan. Run the ducting out of one the various ducting ports on the enclosure. It is preferred that the ducting be vented outside through a window. After the ducting has been run through the duct ports, seal the tent using the double cinch draw strings. The power cable for the fan can now be run through either the wiring port on the tent, or an unused duct port. You are now ready for lighting!

Cool Tube Reflector:
Start by installing your carbon filter horizontally at the top left inside corner of your tent. Use two ratchet straps evenly spaced and wrap around the carbon filter and attach to the horizontal top brace of the tent. Measure the distance from the floor to the carbon filter flange, cut a piece of ducting to that length. Attach one end of the ducting to the carbon filter flange using the supplied clamps. Let the other end of the ducting hang. Attach the inline fan to the opposite side of the tent using a ratchet strap. Affix to the same crossbar and at the same height as the carbon filter. The inlet side of the fan should be facing the carbon filter. Cut another piece of ducting using the same measurement taken before. Attach one end to the inlet side of the inline fan, and let the other end hang.
Step 3 - Lighting
Assemble the lighting components (if required) following the enclosed instructions.

Non-Cool Tube Reflector / LED:
Carefully remove the lightbulb from the packaging. Do not touch the glass with your hand, use a clean glove or cloth. The natural oils on your hands could cause the bulb to fail. Gently screw the bulb into the receptacle.
Attach a ratchet strap to each end of the light fixture and hang from a center placed brace in the middle of tent. Adjust the height of the light fixture using the ratchet straps. The power cable for the fan can now be run through either the wiring port on the tent, or an unused duct port.

Cool Tube Reflector:
Carefully remove the lightbulb from the packaging. Do not touch the glass with your hand, use a clean glove or cloth. The natural oils on your hands could cause the bulb to fail. Gently screw the bulb into the receptacle. Attach a ratchet strap to each end of the light fixture and hang from a center placed brace in the middle of tent. Adjust the height of the light fixture using the ratchet straps. Attach the hanging ducting from Step 2 to each side of the Cool Tube. Secure with the attached clamps. The power cable for the fan can now be run through either the wiring port on the tent, or an unused duct port.
Step 4 - Almost Done
Program the included digital timer to the desired light cycle (e.g. 12/12, 18/6). Then, Plug the lighting cable into the ballast. The ballast should be situated in a position to reduce the risk of water damage and away from combustible materials or carpet. Plug the ballast power cable into the digital timer. Ensure the fan is turned off using the adjustable switch ,then plug the inline fan into the other receptacle on the digital timer.

Following the instructions provided by your seed supplier prepare the seeds. Using the supplied fabric pots and the soil of your choice place the seedlings into the tent enclosure. Evenly space the pots in the enclosure. Plug in the digital timer.
Notes

Carbon Filter:
Should your enclosure not feel stable when mounting the carbon filter on the upper section of the tent it should be placed on the floor of the enclosure then ducted up to the inline fan.

Inline Fan:
As your plants begin to grow they will require more air movement. Once your plants develop it is recommended to plug the inline fan into a power receptacle separate from the digital timer to provide 24 hour air movement.

Temperature Control:
The internal temperature of your enclosure should be monitored. You can use the hatches on the enclosure and the inline fan speed controller to regulate temperature. Do not let your enclosure exceed 30 degrees centigrade.
Grow Kit Set-Up
Congratulations you've made the great decision to purchase a Green Leaf Grow Kit! But now what?

Step 1 - The Enclosure
The first step in setting up your grow enclosure is the assembly of the tent. Open the box and lay out the components. Attach the quick connect connectors following the labels creating the frame of your tent. You will then drape the tent over the frame opening the larger "assembly" zipper. Once stretched over the frame you will then slide the tent under the base while lifting the frame. Zip closed the "assembly" zipper. Now place the Cleanable floor liner over the floor of the tent. You can now rotate the tent into the desired location of the room.
Note: You should assemble the growing enclosure in the room in which you intend to grow. Once erected the enclosure may or may not fit through a standard doorway.
