General Warnings for all products

Growing lights operate at extreme temperatures. Extreme caution should be taken when operating growing lights.
- Never touch a light bulb with your fingers. The natural oils on the human body can cause high powered light bulbs to explode.
- Always wear protective eyewear when lighting is illuminated. Treat all grow lighting the same as looking at the sun. The Green Leaf Company Ltd. highly recommends that any interaction around the lighting equipment only take place when the lighting is off.
- Ensure all power is disconnected when plugging-in / out electrical products.
- All electrical equipment and lighting must be installed in such a way as to eliminate the possibility of water damage and electrical shock.
- If water damage on electrical equipment is suspected we suggest safely discarding the affected items.
- There are inherent risks with using high powered lighting in a confined space. Temperature readings should be taken regularly and monitored at all times. Do not allow a growing enclosure to reach a temperature above 30 degrees centigrade. Extra caution should be taken to avoid plants from growing to close to lighting products. As a minimum plants should never be closer than 24" to a light bulb.
-Growing enclosures / tents must be installed in such a manner that they cannot be tipped over. The Green Leaf Company Ltd. highly recommends exercising extreme caution when using a grow enclosure / tent in the vicinity of children under the age of 18 years of age. Personal injury and fire could occur if a growing enclosure / tent is tipped over. Children could also be seriously harmed if entering an enclosure while the lighting is on.  Falling objects from the inside of the enclosure / tent could also occur. It is because of the stated and unstated risks that we strongly recommend not using our equipment in the vicinity of children under the age of 18 years of age. In the event our products will be used around children under the age of 18 we recommend the following: Always supervise children when around our products, ensure they are wearing the proper safety equipment, ensure lighting and electrical equipment is off and disconnected, and use luggage locks on all tent zippers.
- Grow enclosure / tents should always be vented outside. Humidity is created in plant growing environments and could cause damage to household interior structures and finishes.
- Dried plant stems and leaves should be removed promptly as dried foliage is susceptible to catch fire.
